Effnet AB, the leading provider of header compression software for wireless and fixed networks, today announced that it has licensed its header compression technology to Siemens AG, a leading electrical engineering and electronics company. 

A communication link between power substations is a tough operating environment for IP based applications like voice and data. Effnet has licensed its high quality and mature header compression technology to serve this environment. Effnet's technology enables more efficient use of transmission capacity and supports more simultaneous applications and users.
